I’m an Honors Faculty Fellow and Principal Lecturer at Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State University. While trained as an evolutionary morphologist (PhD, University College Dublin, 1993), my research currently focuses on scientific, theological and cultural responses to evolutionary ideas. I am affiliated with the Center for Biology & Society and the program in Human & Social Dimensions of Science & Technology and have served on graduate committees for students in both. I am also affiliated with the Center for Jewish Studies. I maintain a strong interest in science education and have served on the education committees of both the History of Science Society (HSS) and the International Society for the History, Philosophy and Social Studies of Biology (ISHPSSB).
